We had so many memories Grandad. You showed me how to bake and we got some of the ingredients fresh from the apple and plum trees we planted and grew together. You always let me play on your PC when I came round and you always made sure I was happy. I helped you pick the fish for your tank and you let me feed them. We walked the dogs through the woods on most weekends and I remember when we tried to walk Jess but she got out of the collar and ran home because she hated walks. On Christmas you would let me help you open your presents because I loved taking off the wrapping paper. When I was supposed to go to my first Sunderland game I ended up being sick on the morning and my dad still went to the game but you came round to see me as I was unwell. I remember when you took me to the aquarium on a day out. You used to get some of mam’s old toys out of the loft because there wasn’t many toys at your house. I fell asleep in your arms a lot of times when I would have a nap at yours on a weekend. When I started getting older you would help me with my laptop when it would run slow and you would help me download software. I will cherish all of the memories I have with you forever. I miss you and love you so much Grandad. Until we meet again. ❤️
